#5 Tuesday Tips/Tricks

  • Swipe a shimmery white eyeshadow into your inner corners of your eyes in a sideways V shape to catch light, which widens eyes!
  • Want longer hair, take zinc tablets as these help hair regrowth (of course you're not going to have Rapunzel hair over night though!)
  • Outlining lips in a nude lip liner will always make lips appear bigger and plumper!
  • Apply a day cream/moisturiser every day, your skin needs moist!
  • Always know your skin type then you'll be able to look after it more and know what works best!
What do you think of these tips/tricks? Will or do you use them? Do you have any of your own? Let me know!

Hourglass. Femme Rouge Lipstick. Shade: Icon

A lovely cosmetics company named 'Hourglass' (that I hadn't heard of before!) sent me a few products to feature on my blog. I was so excited to see that they had sent me a lipstick in a 'hollywood glamour' colour, a mascara with a 'hourglass' shaped brush and a little sample pot of foundation (which is quite dark, oops.) Today I am going to review their lipstick...

I have many lipsticks that I have accumulated just over a year containing many pink shades so I was happy I got sent a shade in a colour I actually don't own, 'Icon' is what it's named and it reminds me of Marilyn Monroe's lips, bright red, and as she was an icon in Hollywood and so glamorous, this all gives me the impression that this is why it was named, 'Icon,' for that kind of look/feel?! It's highly pigmented with a creamy and silky feel of a rich red colour with pink undertones, that gives a luxurious velvety finish. When applied it give off bright red lips, which are very bold and would sure make a statement wearing it either in the day or night time. Oh and it has a gorgeous scent to it! (I am really bad with scents so I actually can not describe what scent it is, but it smells niiiiice!)

Some advantages of this product is.... excellent skin-smoothing, moisture-enhancing and reparative properties. Contains Vitamin E which conditions and treats with protective superantioxidants. Water-resistant, long-lasting and refillable (Yes!! - lipstick refill cartridges that are sold separately. Firmly pull existing cartridge from base and replace with new. The sound of the snap indicates cartridge is secure. Wooo!)

Packaged in a metallic cuboid box - which many 'up market' lipsticks come in nowadays. The actual lipstick packaging is in a circular trendy case which is coloured a dark metallic bronze/brown with the 'hourglass' logo embossed. The product feels quite heavy, defiantly compared to other lipsticks I have as they're kept in a lightweight plastic case. Possesses a generic twisting mechanism to expose the lipstick. The lipstick does have a 'hourglass' logo imprint which I find resembles the 'max factor' logo a lot!

Overall, I have never tried a lipstick that is 'high end' so it was nice to try something different, I did notice a huge difference, with the case, formula, colour and feel! A rich colour to my lips for a bold look  and softens my lips for a silky feel and gave a subtle shine. The price is not exactly something I would jump at, as it's much more than I would pay for 1 lippy, but would most defiantly be on a wishlist of mine.

RRP: $30/3.5g (which is just over £19) Sold at Barneys and Sephora. I do not know whether you can buy or find Hourglass products over here, I am sure you can or will very soon! Visit their website at hourglasscosmetics.com for more.

A review of their mascara up soon too!!

Have you tried a Hourglass product or this lipstick? What are your thoughts on it? Let me know!

Dirty Works Mini Brush Set

Dirty Works is a cosmetics brand found in leading Sainsburys stores. Consisting of make-up & accessories in cute packaging, being compared to 'soap & glory'  products often, due to the simular slogans/text. I have a review today of their mini make-up brushes, that are perfect for travelling with and look really pretty and girly.

The set comes with 4 brushes, not usually the same as you would find in another make-up brushes set, I would normally find 5 or 6 brushes. However, this is a travel starter set and comes with; a powder brush, eye brush, lip brush and an eyebrow/lash comb.

Packaged only in a transparent plastic case that does shout 'cheapppp' but what's inside counts more! The brushes inside are not held together securely or sturdy at all which is disappointing. Also featuring a bright patterned card inside with all the info. They have a black wooden handle with a shiny pink top which looks very stylish.

The brushes are made of nylon which gives that 'fake and cheap' feel, but when they are used they're not too bad and I would say are definitely better than some brushes I have used and budget-friendly, yay! Of course these do not live up to the expensive brushes most people have but these are great for on the go, and for people who don't worry if their brushes get 'ruined' as they're fairly cheap and replaceable.

Overall these are great for keeping in my bag during the day when I am out. 4 brushes for each part of your face, with an attractive handle and small enough to fit into your hand perfectly. For just over a fiver, these are not bad and great for anyone.

RRP: £5.99/4 brushes - Buy here.

What are your thoughts on these brushes? Do you have them already? Let me know what you think!

Naked Thirst Aid 12hr Moisturiser

I don't tend to use moisturisers, even though I really should! So when Kilpatrick PR sent me this product to review I was pretty happy enough to do so. I have been testing it on and off for a month. Do you want to know my thoughts? Read on...

It's from the brand 'Naked' which is a range of 97% natural beauty products crammed with gorgeous high quality botanical extracts. There are many products in their range including bubble bath, make-up remover, eye gel and this moisturiser that claims to keep your face hydrated for 12 hours and some first thirst aid needed for sensitive skin.

Firstly, packaged in a cardboard box and when opened the actual product packaging is an average sized, plastic grey tub with an unscrewable lid and stick on (that were pealing) labels with info, inside there is a transparent lid that acts as a seel to protect the product. Can I just say about the appeal factor, as this is not good, it looks very cheap (it kinda is - 100ml for under a tenner, wow!) It doesn't look 'pretty' and luxurious like many moisturisers. Don't judge a book product by it's cover packaging could be used here though, haha!

The moisturiser is a rich and thick cream with a unnoticeable scent of Shea butter. Containing lots of healthy oils such as argan oil and noroli oil! I have normal/combo skin so I didn't want a greasy and over-powering feel that some moisturisers give you, this wasn't too bad on my face/neck but needed lots of massaging in and it did sink in eventually. Yay, for it hydrating my skin for a good couple of hours (not 12 hours though as it claims!) leaving it soft and clean.

I don't use it often as I would like but when I do, it's not a bad product for price, certainly. Travel friendly you may ask? No, not really as it's kinda heavy! (Oh and I do like the 'against animal testing' slogan, cute!)

RRP £7.50/100ml. Buy at Superdrug and online at Naked.

Have you tried this product out for yourself? What are your thoughts on this? Let me know!

NOTD // Rimmel - Misty Jade

Hey everyone, what beautiful weather we are getting in the England! Summer already and much needed as the past weeks of weather have been terrible! On my days off I am sunbathing with music on, a mag in one hand and a cold drink in the other, perfect. I want a nice tan before July! As it was super sunny today I thought of painting my nails a gorgeous green/blue colour, in the garden and using the scenery as the background, which makes my photos better in sunlight!

The nail polish I used is called 045 'Misty Jade' by Rimmel, when in direct sunlight looks a very light blue but in normal light is very much a mint green colour (makes me want mint choc ice-cream! ...oh and a nail art design idea it gives me!) It is a gorgeous colour though and will make anyone look more tanned on your hands/arms as light nails on dark/olive or even pale skin works really well and looks so nice. This is a really good summer colour too, adds a pop of colour to your nails, team with matching eyeshadow and that would look bang on trend and gorgeous!

I used 2 coats but probably needed 1 more as it is still streaky (which many Rimmel nail polishes give off, ugh) My pinky needed about 5 coats as it was very streaky still, photo above shows it in 2 coats! It's annoying to dry as well as it takes a long time and then when you think it's dry, your nail will just lean on something and you have a dent in it meaning it's not fully dry underneath, what? So Rimmel is not my favourite nail brand but that was the shade of colour I wanted and I only had it by Rimmel. (I need Barry M's mint green one!) Excuse my messy nails!

RRP: £2.99/8ml in supermarkets and beauty shops.

Do you have this nail polish, what are your thoughts on it? Let me know!

Metique Tea Tree Oil Skin Wash

Jenny Bacon from Metique kindly sent me some Tea Tree Oil products to review, I am a massive fan of Tea Tree Oil and use many facial products that contain this amazing ingredient, to help my skin when it's needed. I was sent this product (as well as a few other small things!) that states a 'skin wash' and I have never used Tea Tree Oil washes on my body before, only my face so I was intrigued to see what happens and if it was any use!

Packaged in a glossy white opaque tube with a blue press down. This tube is perfect for use when you press down with one hand for the product to squirt out into the other hand! A few squirts of the product and you have a good amount to massage into your body. Contains 5% of Tea Tree Oil with a really strong scent, I am not the biggest fan of the scent and  it can sometimes be overpowering for my need, but I got used to it quickly. I didn't notice a massive improvement, possibly just a new skin wash to add to my collection to clean my body.

However, I have been using it mostly on my face each morning and when I apply it, it gives off a cooling sensation, telling me its actually working and getting right into my skin. Mixing with water, but as this does not contain sulphates it will not lather up! Leave for under a minute then wash off with warm water. I do notice a difference after every use, cleanliness and freshness. I will probably continue using this on my face more than my body. Contains Vitamin E too and is non drying either, perfect.

Many people don't know the good uses of Tea Tree Oil so I'm going to give you some info... it originates from Australia, where the antiseptic properties are renowned and have been used for centuries by the aborigines. What does it do you may ask? Well it kills bacteria without disrupting the resident flora on the skin!

Visit their website at teatreeoilproducts.co.uk. Also if you enter 'Lizzie' at the checkout you get 15% off discount excluding p&p, valid until 10th June!

RRP: £9.18/250ml

Have you tried this product? Do you use Tea Tree Oil products? Let me know your thoughts on this!

NEW, MeMeMe Boho Balms

I am loving these 2 *new* balms by MeMeMe that will launch in Superdrug on 7th June, at £6.50 (an introductory price of £4.50 on offer first!)

I am really loving these Boho balms!! In colours pink/rouge and the second boho balm in colours taupe/coral. Aimed at the festival season (starting next month!!) it's a dual cheek/lip tint in a little tin, which is great for travel and getting around without having 2 seperate things, now you have 2 things in 1! I really love the concept of this and will buy one for sure.

Will you be buying one of these, or perhaps both?

Technic - Carnival

Hey guys! Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sun, yes we have SUN!!! Well down here where I live it's been so hot today! Time to get sun lotion on.. well not yet, haha. I have a nail polish review today! Eveywhere I have seen people rave at how similar this nail polish is compared to OPI's Rainbow one, and I can now say that they are almost identical, except a big £10 in difference!

The nail polish is called 'Carnival.' It has a transparent base coat withholding an array of fairly the same sized specks of pink, green, blue, silver and gold glitter. On the nail wheel clockwise I did, 1 coat, 2 coat and so on to 5 coats. There is definitely a visible difference, 1 coat being hardly any glitter and less noticeable whilst 5 coats almost covered the whole nail, 3 and 4 looked the same surprisingly. Dried pretty quickly too! When I use this on coloured nails I would use 2 coats or 3.

Recently I have been in love with glitter nail polishes, lots of different colours available it's hard not to resist them all! Glitter polishes are best applied over coloured nails, especially bright nails (ooh my fave!) I will be honest this is my first Technic polish and if the others are as good as this one, I need them all!!

The packaging does remind me of OPI nail polishes with the sleek, black tall lid on a circular, transparent glass jar which displays the appealing polish really well especially when exposed to light the glitter reflects attractively.

RRP: under £5 or £1 in many discount shops. I payed £2.50/12ml on eBay. Or buy on Amazon for £2 incl. p&p!

Do you have this polish, what are your thoughts on it? Let me know your thoughts!

  • Dab highlighter on the top of your cubids bow for fuller looking lips!
  • Re-use your mascara wands, get an old mascara wand and clean it then use it with the an other mascara liquid!
  • Change your skincare routine with the season, it'll make you feel better with new looks each time and also help your skin, changing it to it's particular way!

Skin Revivals Harmonising Balm

I have been using this 'Harmonising Balm' by Skin Revivals on and off for about a month now, it's a great moisturiser that is really light on my face and has a fresh feel and scent to it. Containing only natural ingredients, yay!

"Natural Health Magazine Beauty Awards 2009 Winner - Best Value Skin Care Range"

Packaged in a glossy white, average sized bottle. Unscrewable lid with a 'squeeze and tab on' feature. The product itself is coloured white like many lotions/balms. Scented with  fresh, natural and floral scent.

The formula is very thin and light and when applied to my face it sinks in quickly, leaving a non oily feel. It maintains moisture balance for a long day and protects against environmental aggressors, for daily rehydration. Best used for normal to dry skin or naturing skin and after cleansing, or use this before applying make-up as a base - works really well I must say.

Includes lots of natural ingredients such as, Peach Kernel Oil, Beeswax, Rosehip Oil, White Tea Extract, Vitamins E & A, Milk Protein, Ylang-Ylang and with low level UVA/UVB sun protection. (Now that is a lot of good ingrediants for your skin!)

RRP: £10.50 /100ml. Buy at beautynaturals.com

Launched 4 years ago, british brand 'Frontcover' is loved by most make-up fans, for it's great make-up and amazing prices. With every season's Limited Edition range selling out in record time. Taking the season's catwalk trends and translating them into wearable looks for the high street!

The full range of the 6 S/S kits which are named: Sunlit Metals, Colour Of the Season: Pink, Pencils + Polish, A Rainbow Of Colours, The Baked Powder Collection and Matte & Mettalic. Which will all be available soon exclusively from Frontcover's *new* webstore and costing between £12 - £18. And available in Sephora across Europe very soon!
In the photo above, pictured top is the 'Pencils + Polish' kit which consists of 4 chunky creamy pencils and 4 matching nail polishes all of which are bright and bold colours as colour blocking and clashing is a huge trend this season. Turquoise/purple eyes with tropical colours on your nails. Including a pencil sharpener!
Bottom photo is the 'Matte & Mettalic' kit which is inspired by leather and suede in a spectrum of warm shades and in contrasting textures of gloss and matte. In many shades of copper, metal, golds and browns for a gorgeous update on the smokey eye! Containing 4 cream eyeshadows, 8 pressed eyeshadows and a double ended brush.

Also a bonus is that the formulations have no animals derivatives and the products do not contain parabens!

#3 Tuesday Tips/Tricks

  • Apply moisturiser all over your body just before bed, then in the morning you're skin will be so soft!
  • When washing your face, use warm water to open pores then cold water to close pores!
  • When you have dyed your hair, wash it after 3 days to let the colour stay in and last longer!
  • Never leave perfume in direct sunlight, always in a cool dry place otherwise it can ruin the scent and change it!
  • When using a hair mask, put on a shower cap to keep the warmth into your hair whilst the hair mask is working, it'll be much softer!
  • Want tousled tresses in the morning? Before bed, wash your hair and put in a plait whilst it's still wet, you'll have light natural waves!

Fish Hair Curl Defining Cream

I received this some time ago with a few other products. I have never tried nor did I know about the hair products brand 'Fish.' But having used this constantly in the past weeks, I am now a big fan!

The 'Curl Defining Cream' is strongly scented with Shea butter (my favourite!) and is a thinly cream that is absorbed quickly for my hair. Packaged in a plastic, lilac coloured squeezy tube with bold quirky text written on the front with their brand name written very big and all the info on the back.

Although this product is for real curly hair (think Rihanna's hair, 2011) I have natural wavy hair so I use this on the bottoms to add bouncy light curls/waves and works just as good, to make them more defined and noticeable. Fish say, 'Helps keep frizz at bay, leaving you with defined and glossy curls.' I will be honest and say I have a slight 'frizzyness' to a part of my hair and this didn't help, it stayed the same. But did make my 'messy waves' more curly and better (before and after!!)

Overall this is a fab hair curling product, smells so good and works really well, no doublt even better for people with big, proper curls. The price is also reasonable. I really love it!

RRP: £4.07/100ml. Buy here, here and Boots

NEW Montagne Jeunesse, Skin Heroes Range // Break-Out Mud Mask

About a month ago, Montagne Jeunesse sent me (and lots of other beauty bloggers) the *new* Skin Heroes  range to review, including 5 sachets of face masks & nose pore strips. I had been wanting to use these straight away as I am a big fan of the brand and I have always used their face masks in the past. Last week I used the Break-Out Mask!

It's 1 out of 5 from the range including face masks to help your skin, such as: Shine Control, Dry Skin Mask, and T-Zone Peel Off. The new face masks now come with a stage 1 and stage 2 steps. No other face mask does that within 1 sachet/product so these are quite unique.

Stage 1: This stage being the actual face mask, which you would apply like any other one, spreading and applying all over your face and to let it dry and work it's magic for about 15mins (or 30mins if you're like me, haha) If it leaves your face quite stiff then it's working! Wash off with warm water and a flannel and then pat dry with a towel. It has a strong scent of Tea Tree Oil (used in many facial products to help!) and calming Canadian Willowherb which is also a natural ingredient to help Break-Outs. The face mask is coloured to match the scent. Afterwards my skin was much cleaner and fresh also feeling really soft! I could also get more than 1 application (that's what I love about MJ face masks, one sachet has about 3 applications out of it!!)

Stage 2: I used the moisturising cream straight away afterwards to get the real effect, it's a thick cream but not too heavy for your skin, quickly sinking in and felt very soft when dried. It has the identical tantalising scent of the face mask. I could only get 1 application out of this part though.

A little mention that they are all suitable for vegetarians and always use natural ingredients, amazing!

RRP: £1.49 each/15g of face mask, 3g of moisturiser. Buy at Asda or online.

Do you love Montagne Jeunesse products? What are your thoughts in this face mask? Let me know!

Wednesday Wishlist

Another new feature, 'Wednesday Wishlist' each Wednesday I will post a collage of little beauty things I need want! Although there are many things so I will only show 5 or 6 things. Hope you like it.

1. Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover. £4.99/75ml. (exclusive to Boots!) I reallyyy want this, I tested it out in Boots recently and it was so good! (I did spill a bit on me, haha) It is so magical, seriously, just put your finger in and twist it and all traces of nail polish has gone. To refill you simply just fill it up with  any nail polish remover.

2. Max Factor Flipstick in shade Salsa Red. £8.49. I just love this new lipstick, it's a duo that is so versatile to use in many ways!! Many colours to choose from , but this is my fave!

3. Models Own Nail Polish in shade Disco Mix. £5/14ml. I have been wanting this nail polish for ages! Such a great blue/pink glittery nail polish! I really need this, soon.

4. Maybelline Popstick in shade Pink Lollipop. £7.19. if a new product comes out usually the bbloggers hype so much about it! Well I haven't seen this anywhere on beauty blogs?! Isn't it good or haven't people just not payed attention to them? Well I see this all the time when I look at the makeup counters, these new lipsticks named popsticks (cool, right!) are quite jelly like, see through and very sheer but give a pop of colour when applied, variety of 5 shades I am aware, I like this colour so much. Link me if you have this and reviewed it!
5. Garnier Intensive 7 Day Gel Cream. £4.99/400ml (£2.99/250ml) Haven't tried this but heard a good review by a bblogger and have been wanting to try this for some time, so when I am next in town and have money I'll pick it up. Because moisture for 2 days straight whilst used once, wow!

6. ImPress Press On Manicure. £8.99. These are new and I saw these in Boots today, I want them. Stick on prints and designs, much easier than painting! A little pricey but if they're reusable then that's amazing.

What do you want? Anything on here you have your eyes on too?

#2 Tuesday Tips/Tricks

The second time of Tuesday Tips/Tricks and I have lots!!! After Sundays #bbloggers chat, which was to do with 'beauty tips and tricks' this was just what I wanted, I learnt a few new things and gave out lots of my own. So without further ado, here are some from Twitter  I mentioned and other peoples...
  • Use lip balms at night, then when you wake up in the morning they are SO soft and moisturised. Works every time with dry lips!
  • Mix highlighter with foundation for a natural glow!
  • Blow dry your hair while bent over! It dries quicker and gives you more volume!
  • Want big, stand out lashes? Use more than 1 mascara (I use 3 different ones) my eyes definitely stand out and my lashes are biiiig!
  • Spot prone/blemish/acne skin? Then you should wash your make-up brushes after every use. All you need is soap and water!
  • For those annoying baby hairs around your face, use some hand cream to smooth them down!
What do you think of these tips/tricks, will or do you use them? Do you have any of your own, leave a comment below!

Monday Manicure // Revlon - Tropical Temptation

Hi everyone, happy bank holiday / may day. Hope everyone is having a lovely day! I picked this nail polish up in my local Poundland recently, it is a gorgeous pink shade (one I don't own out of many pinks, haha) and I had to buy it, especially as it was only £1, wow.

The nail polish is called 'Tropical Temptation', firstly what springs to my mind from the name is fruit, tropical fruit in fact, with colours being pink, red and orange. The colour looks very orange-y pink, almost a strawberry pink, I understand why they used 'Tropical' in the name! I used 2 coats over my nails to achieve an opaque look, without a base and top coat. As you know Revlon do pretty good nail polishes - long lasting, chip free for a while, extra glossy and quite quick to dry too. I love Revlon nail polishes, of course more so when they are only £1 in Poundland, much love to that shop must I say (lots of bargains in there!) This nail polish is discontinued in shops that is why I found it in Poundland but it's such a nice colour it should still be sold everywhere, you can find it on ebay though!

edit: I applied this nail polish on the weekend and it's now Friday and my nails still look 95% 'just done' When I normally apply nail polish from another brand, it starts to chip very soon, sometimes the next day (shocking, right!) but Revlon's has lasted more than 5 days, omg! And I have had lots of things to do that needs my hands used loads, so I expected lots of chipping to happen but no, seriosuly I am so surprised - I you really need to see it to believe it, officially in love with Revlon nail polishes, I want more!!

RRP: under £5/14.7ml

Do you own this nail polish? What are your thoughts on it? Let me know!

Another new feature on my blog is 'monthly empties!' Each month I will end up finishing and using up a few beauty products and showing you what they are, with a quick description, etc.

Radox Brazilian Fusion Shower Therapy. I received this from the company themselves to try out, although I have seen these in almost every shop I have never really used them, just like any other shower gel, lathers up a lot and moisturises your skin whilst cleaning and adding a fresh scent too. I have used this up pretty quick, each time in my bath (yes I used it under running water for bubbles instead of actually in a shower, haha) Would I repurchase? Yes, but it's not a major thing on my list. 6/10. RRP: £1+/250ml (buy now)

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub. I have had this for some time now and finally I have used it all up. I use to use it every morning and night as it freshened and tightened my skin and left it really soft, also adding my favourite scent to it, I couldn't resist buying it. I use lots of facial scrubs and this has got to be in my top 5, it is a gentle scrub! Would I repurchase? Yes, but as I have many facial scrubs still more than half left, I won't be buying this one yet. 8/10. RRP: £4/150ml (buy now)

Kleenex Facial Cloths Cotton Touch. Oh my.... These are soooo soft, they are a sample pack I won from Kleenex on twitter, they're soft enough to blow your nose on, use to tone/cleanse your skin, or even to remove nail polish with, they're so versatile! I used them to cleanse with, I still can't believe how soft these were, baby soft!!! Definitely better than cotton wool. Would I repurchase? Of course, hopefully buying some next week. 10/10. RRP: £1.99/30cloths (buy now)

What are your thoughts on these products? Let me know!

Blistex Balms

Hi guys, I am trying to get more posts up as I am still busy as ever but I love blogging so I am doing lots of draft posts tonight to put up each day this/next week. Today I have lip balms from Blistex (Having never tried Blistex and I have more than 15 lip balms, haha) they are a must have for dry/chapped lips to keep them moisturised in the cold weather, but who says you can't use them in May? I received these 2 *new* ones a couple of weeks ago to review for you all. I have been testing them out daily, here are my thoughts...

Lip Balm #1: Raspberry Lemonade Blast. The name of this one is called 'Zingy' which as by the product name is full of a gorgeous scent - raspberry and lemonade to add freshness and flavour to your lips (the scent really reminds me of those sweets, Refreshers!!)  When applied it is sheer and does not add any colour but the main point of this balm is to add fruity to your beauty, for lips that taste irresistible. The advantage is that it also protects your lips, bursting with exotic coconut oil to moisturise which it sure does, jojoba to condition and Vitamin C & E for pout protection, amazing! The packaging that the product comes in is a transparent holder stuck onto a yellow coloured card, with all the info on the back of what the product is, does and contains (with their little slogans and nice words!) The actual lip balm is kept in a red and blue stick with pull of lid, to reveal the lip balm just twist from the bottom. Overall this lip balm is especially good for cold, dry or even sunny weather with a deliciously kissable pout and is also SPF 15! RRP: £2+/4.25g

Lip balm #2 - Lip Brilliance. The name of this one is called 'Blushing' as it is rosy pink colour (many lip balms nowadays have a tint of colour within them) It adds shimmer and when applied it does give my lips a a natural rosy glow. There is also a sweet scent to this lip balm which I am sure is grape. The packaging the product comes in is the same as above except onto a pink card to match the product. The actual lip balm is kept in a pink stick with pull of lid/cover, to reveal the lip balm just twist. The product itself is 'enriched with lots of lovely stuff like Vitamin E to naturally replenish, silk extracts for super softness and grape seed oil to condition your pout' - I must say it does condition my lips well, making them so soft and smelling nice with a hint of colour. It also contains Hyaluronic Filling Spheres it boosts your natural fullness so that your lips look healthy, full and fabulous. SPF 15 too! RRP: £2.49/3.7g

Will you be buying one or both of these? What are your thoughts on them? Let me know!

#1 Tuesday Tips/Tricks

A new feature I am going to do on Tuesdays, as my blog is only beauty, of course the tips/tricks will be everything beauty. I am going to get mine from the internet, magazines, twitter and my own tips/tricks, I hope you will all enjoy this new feature and look forward to The Girls Beauty Review, Tuesday Tips/Tricks! Also If you have your own beauty tips/tricks please leave a comment under this post, I would love to know your own ones and may include them on here! So without anymore rambling on, here is my first Tuesday Tip/Tricks...
  • Match your pout to your blush - blend a bit of blush with a clear lip balm then dab on!
  • Red, inflamed skin? Mix together baking soda and water to form a paste then blot on with a cotton wool ball, it'll help to reduce irritation!
  • Exfoliate skin in the bath then apply a body oil, moisturise fake tan in your skin after, it will stay longer and look better!
  • Want a light foundation for summer? Mix together foundation and a moisturiser for a home-made tinted moisturiser!
  • Apply talc powder for an easy shine free t-zone!
What do you think of these beauty tips/tricks, will or do you use them? Do you have any of your own, leave a comment below!
